the whole thing is creepy! the gun rack above the bed, the freaky doll.
I love my parents, but a photographic opportunity like this can't be denied.

Creepy, definitely creepy. Dolls like that give me the shivers! A very cool shot though.

Perfect lighting. And the whole ominous tone appeals to me!

haha. Nicole, it's a real gun my Dad built from scratch, so he's pretty proud of them (there's a matching one of the other side of the wall). But they are not loaded.
My father is a pro-gun, member of the NRA, pro-choice, pro-Democrats, Prius driving, compost making, environmentalist anomaly.

ok. i THOUGHT that was a gun rack....
i think that the sheetless mattress also adds to the mood...
i know a girl whose father collects guns AND barbie dolls!?! (he keeps them in the box)
and if i ever visit, you can be sure i'm getting pix of that...

Very interesting! The shadows, composition, subject - all makes me want to go back and look again to see every detail. Excellent.

Maybe you didn't intend it this way, but I find that lone doll in the darkened room a bit spooky. I keep thinking it's about to sit up and speak directly to you -- lifeless yet menacing -- similar to the Twilight Zone episode, "Living Doll." “My name is Talky Tina!! And you'd better be NICE to me!”
