Jacqueline and Davide’s Vintage Backyard Wedding

May 12, 2011

Another family I am growing more and more in love with as time passes! Jacqueline and Davide married in the backyard of her parents home, surrounded by family and friends. I photographed Jacqueline’s sister, Jenny’s, wedding a few years ago as well! I cannot express enough how amazing it is when you get to know a family on such a special day and then they ask you to come back for another amazing day! It’s truly an honor when I become “the family photographer.”

Jackie and Davide’s wedding was so special. A vintage inspired picnic that brought together both families cultures. You see, Jackie’s family is Korean and Davide’s family is from Italy. Despite the three different languages being spoken by any one person at a time, this tent was filled to the brim with love and happiness!

I have such pretty brides!

Ahhhhh, sisters!

Emily and Ryan’s Wedding at The Village Club at Lake Success

May 11, 2011

I really love when family of former couples come back and ask me to be a part of their wedding day. It’s such an honor to have photographed Emily’s wedding after having photographed her sister Kim’s wedding a few years earlier. I can honestly say I am starting to feel like a member of this family and I’m lucky because they are awesome!

I love sisters!! I have three of my own and whenever I get to photograph sisters, it makes me smile! Besides photographing Kim and Emily’s wedding, I recently got to photograph their sister Dara’s baby shower! Pictures to follow soon!

Megan and Ben at Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture

January 21, 2011

Megan and Ben had the most amazing late November wedding…OUTDOORS! The Brooklyn Botanic Garden was home to their ceremony and the reception followed at the very lovely Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture. We had so much fun taking portraits around the garden, outside the Brooklyn Museum of Art, at Grand Army Plaza, we even stopped in at the Farmer’s Market for a few photos!
