I am proud to announce that Julie and Eric’s wedding was featured on Rock ‘n Roll Bride’s blog! I truly love when couples embrace the fun, quirky, retro vibe. I love rock ‘n roll weddings and am happy to have been able to contribute to such a killer wedding blog!

Violet
What can I say about Baby Violet? She is a little miracle, rolled into a completely sweet and adorable bundle of cute. No, really! I completely fell in love with her the minute I laid eyes on her!
I knew about Violet before she was even born. Her auntie and I are friends and when I heard that Violet was born many weeks premature, I was waiting with bated breath to hear about her updates. Well, needless to say, Violet has a tremendous heart and will to live because here she is, 7 months old, and looking as cute and healthy as can be!
The other day we had a quick little mini session during Violet and Thea’s first play date (the first of many I hope!) and here are just a few of my favorites!

This was the size of Violet’s first diaper. At 1 pound 4 ounces, Mom says it was falling off of her.

Kim and Jason’s Engagement
I feel like a blogging champion lately! It’s great to be back in the driver’s seat and sharing all the sessions I’ve been busy shooting over here at Kimberly Hurst Photography. I’ve got a family session, a baby session, three weddings, and a Thea update all in the pipeline. But for now? Kim and Jason were married this past Sunday at the Old Field Country Club! And we shot their engagement session the Sunday before that! I dig when couples shoot their engagement session during their wedding week. It’s another little event for them to enjoy during what is bound to be a crazy busy week packed with family and friends and allows them some alone time together just the two of them (and me).
Like I said, there’s so much more to come, but for now, enjoy the fun times with Jason and Kim!
