Jia-Lin and Kristin Engagement Session

July 25, 2009

I met up with Jia-Lin and Kristin the other day in Bryant Park and we had a really fun, albeit a little hot afternoon, wandering around Seventh Ave and Central Park. Their wedding is going to be here before we know it, and I simply can’t wait!

Sarah and Chris: A Vermont Wedding

July 20, 2009

I had the most incredible time photographing Sarah and Chris’ wedding. Needless to say, I fell in LOVE with Vermont. But really, who doesn’t?! I got to spend some fun time with the best man at OUR wedding because our good friend Adam, is the bride’s brother! Needless to say, Sarah is the best, and Chris was just as awesome. I had a great weekend soaking up the landscape, getting to know the families, and taking lots of pretty pictures! I have a lot of tales to tell from this lovely wedding, so here we go!

Here is our lovely bride.

And her handsome groom.

After the rehearsal, and before the rehearsal dinner, we did a mini engagement session in the park of downtown Rochester, VT!

It was rainy pretty much on and off all weekend, but I always like to point out that photos in the rain can be just as awesome as the sun!

The rehearsal dinner was held at the sweetest little restaurant. I heard from Adam’s mom that the house where the restaurant now resides use to be the town doctors office. It had tons of charm!

After the rehearsal dinner, the family invited all the guests back to their little camp in the woods for strawberry shortcake and fireworks. On the way there, Kyle and I saw this HUGE rainbow, so we pulled over and snapped a few quick photos. Like I said, Vermont is a dream.

I love the Fourth of July weekend! Flags and fireworks!

And now it’s wedding day!

Samita and Al’s Engagement Session

July 1, 2009

Samita and Al swung by my house the other night and the three of us went on an adventure down to the Fire Island Lighthouse! It was actually a lot of fun getting to spend so much time in the car with them. I got to hear all about where they grew up, went to school, how all the wedding details are coming along, and so on and so on.

So arrived at the lighthouse and had a long trek from where we had to walk until we actually hit the lighthouse itself. I have to say, I am so in love with these photos! The tick bite I got as a result of the trip was soooo worth it! What can I say? I just adore my clients! I can’t wait for the wedding you two!
