Cynthia and Louis Engaged!

October 28, 2008

I met up with Cynthia and Louis earlier in the month and had such a fun afternoon despite the rainy weather! When Cynthia told me they were in town to see the only stateside reunion performance of Echo and the Bunnymen, I just about died on the spot. Thanks for such a fun afternoon you guys, and I can not wait for the wedding!

The Week Ahead

October 20, 2008

I’ve got a pretty eventful and packed week and weekend coming up! PDN’s Photo Plus Expo is landing at the Javits Center and my week is full of get-togethers, parties, classes, and fun.

It all starts tonight and then I’ve got something planned every day from now until Sunday. Be it a photo get-together, a birthday party, an engagement session, a house guest, or the actual trade show, I’m going to be BUSY! So, if you don’t hear back from me right away via email or phone call, or if you are waiting on your blog sneak peak, or your wedding to go online, please know I am running around this week enjoying the business side as well as the fun side of what I do.

I hope to blog a few of my adventures as well, so check back and see what I’ve been up to lately!

Jared and Kim’s Big Day

October 14, 2008

This post is going to be very picture heavy because I loved Jared and Kim’s wedding.  It was an exceptionally sweet and polished affair.  Jared and Kim are rock stars and I really loved getting to know them and their family!  Turns out we have many people in common and we were not aware of that until the actual wedding! Needless to say, I ended up with a whole lotta’ Facebook friends from this group. You guys are so very cool and so was your wedding day.

So, without further adeu, here are some favorites.

A friend gets married

October 7, 2008

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of being a bridesmaid for one of my dearest friends. Chris married Brian on September 13th, and I had the chance to sneak a few pictures of their day here and there. I wanted to do my best at being a bridesmaid, but I couldn’t help but pick up my camera for some special little moments and details. I thought it would be fun to share just a few images of my girl Chris as such a beautiful bride.

Chris’ dress was beautiful. Simple, pretty, not too fussy: it just suited her to a tee.

Brian’s mom sewed this sweet quilt for the bride and groom and gave it to them on their wedding day.

Hey, hey. Emily and Deb looking like the fun loving and pretty bridesmaids they are!

Our girl had to be cut out of her tank top in order to get in her dress without mussing up her hair and makeup. We all enjoyed that a little too much!

The bride was all smiles and stunning!

Sharing a happy moment with Mom!

Chris’ bouquet was gorgeous. Sunflowers just make everyone smile.

At this point, my bridesmaid duties started to really kick in. I shot this little moment from my hip. From here on out, I put the camera down and enjoyed my friends lovely wedding day. Congratulations Chris and Brian! I love you both and wish you all the best in your new married life!
