In another Getting to Know You post, I figured I’d let you know about a recent obsession of mine.

I love it. It’s like going shopping without using my credit card. I can mix and match outfits, daydream about the perfect summer wardrobe, and even get a list of possible real life purchases for those rare times I DO get the chance to go shopping for clothes!

Below is a recent concoction. I know it’s getting warmer out, but on those cold spring days, like today in NY, an outfit like this would keep you warm, and make you smile all at once.

It feels so good to be shooting again. On Saturday, two people, so very much in love got married, and I was lucky enough to be there to capture it.

Thank you Lindsey and Cassidy, for a wonderful day, and a bunch of very precious moments. Your wedding will be one I remember for a very long time.

I’ve been dying to share the news with everyone, but I was waiting til I had something tangible to share! Well, I guess this isn’t really tangible, more virtual, but I’ll take what I can get!

A couple months ago, I contributed an article to Artful Blogging magazine about my experiences as a blogger and they decided to run the article along with a whole bunch of photos! So, here’s the cover. And there’s me in the top left corner staring back at the world through my favorite scarf!

If you are in the bookstore and come across it, be sure to check it out! The magazine is so lovely and inspiring; filled with artists talking about their experiences in this “crazy new thing” called blogging. Even if you don’t blog, you might be more inclined to do so after reading some of these experiences!

I adore my niece and nephew! So when my sister asked that I watch one of the kiddies this evening, I was more than happy to do it! I mean, what photographer wouldn’t love to babysit for a kid with his own camera?!
Besides being the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, it’s funny how much he and Kyle have in common. No, I am serious. My grown husband loves many, many of the same things my nephew holds dear. Mostly comic book heroes. So TV time for them tends to be a fun endeavor!

I am having such a fun time playing with textures lately. It’s really hit or miss with some combinations, but when it’s a hit, WOW! I think it adds a really great vibe and emotion to certain photos.
