Thursday, June 28th, 2007- DEMOLITION! While listening to Demolition. Go figure.

But yeah, still using the CoolPix today. Hope to get my hands on the loaner DSLR tomorrow…

But today we started demo-ing our basement. The floors were still to tacky to really work on, so we decided to take hammers and cro-bars to the drop ceiing.

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007- Let me preface. I dropped my camera. Yes, I did. I was at work, grabbed for a piece of paper, and my D70 happened to be sitting on top of it and off the desk she went, crashing to the ground.

I will be without her for a good two weeks, maybe more.

With that said, I have been using my Dad’s ancient (and much loathed) CoolPix. Hopefully I can start using my Dad’s D70 with my lens tomorrow….

Ok, so what have I been doing lately? I’ve been washing windows. Alot of them. And they are super, duper dirt. I have to wash and rewash them on average 3 times each. But when I am done you’d want to eat of them. Seriously!

Monday, June 25th, 2007- Kyle carrying me over the threshold! haha. Uncle Jim was the photographer (so thanks Uncle Jim for catching this moment!).

So, it’s official. We are homeowners! We stood outside drinking champagne with mom, Chris, Uncle Jim. It still hasn’t sunk in that it’s OURS

Day 256

Sunday, June 24th, 2007- Today was our one year anniversary. We spent the day getting breakfast at Warma Cafe, shopped Buffalo Exchange, went to the Met, napped in Central Park (that’d be Kyle SNORING off to the left there), lunched at Cafe Spice, tried to shop at Purl (I was 7 minutes late), and grabbed some cupcakes at Sugar Sweet Sunshine. Along the way we randomly stumbled upon places we walked the first time Kyle came down to NY to visit me. It was crazy to think about that first visit…I barely knew this guy, but I LIKED him, ALOT. We wandered the city much the same way we did today. It’s nice to think 7 years ago we were kinda strangers, 1 year ago we decided it would be forever, and then today was just a simple celebration of that. Enough sap! But I love him lots.
