Samita and Al’s Engagement Session

July 1, 2009

Samita and Al swung by my house the other night and the three of us went on an adventure down to the Fire Island Lighthouse! It was actually a lot of fun getting to spend so much time in the car with them. I got to hear all about where they grew up, went to school, how all the wedding details are coming along, and so on and so on.

So arrived at the lighthouse and had a long trek from where we had to walk until we actually hit the lighthouse itself. I have to say, I am so in love with these photos! The tick bite I got as a result of the trip was soooo worth it! What can I say? I just adore my clients! I can’t wait for the wedding you two!

Christina and Mike Get Married!

June 27, 2009

What can I say about Christina and Mike’s wedding? Just WOW. I loved the fact that Christina’s family lives in my hometown, Mike’s family lives in the town over, they got married at St. Agnes Cathedral, a stunning local church, and I got to top off my night down at the Tribeca Rooftop. The weather was so very threatening for days leading up to the wedding. That morning we woke to overcast, grey, rainy skies. But as Mike and Christina emerged from the church as husband and wife, the clouds dissipated and the sun came out to play the rest of the day.

Christina wore a breathtaking Rivini gown, pretty “something blue” shoes, and the flowers were by Westchester Floral.

Rachel and Andrew Get Married!

June 16, 2009

Rachel and Andrew had a classic, fun, and all around awesome wedding day. The celebration took place at the Fresh Meadow Country Club, flowers were done by Andrew Pascoe in Oyster Bay, and the place took on, as one of Rachel’s bridesmaids exclaimed, a magical wedding forest feel.

P.S. First wedding with my new D700! Oh, Nikon, I love you folks.

Rachel and Andrew’s Engagement Session

Oh, Lido West.  How I love thee!  And how I love Rachel and Andrew!  We had quite a fun time hanging out down by the beach on the Monday before these two were wed!

Photos from the wedding to follow soon!

Christina and Francis - A Wedding

May 28, 2009

Christina and Francis’ wedding was straight up, classic New York. And blended, of course, with lovely Korean and Filipino traditions. Their marriage took place at St. Paul The Apostle, the reception was at the Harvard Club, and every detail was thought out to pretty perfection.

After the ceremony, Francis let me know he would like it if I rode in the car with the two of them back to the club.  He said he had a surprise for Christina!  I was all for it, and boy, what a surprise!  Stunning earrings that Christina promptly put on for the rest of the evening.  Such a fun surprise!

I can honestly say, The Harvard Club was stunning!!  This has to be one of my favorite reception locations yet.  So elegant.

This has to be my favorite shot from the day.  So in love!  Congratulations Christina and Francis!
