Oh, Baby C. You really have stolen my heart. You see, this little fella is Richard and Kathryn’s and I just fell in love. Richard and Kathryn are such loving and adorable people, it’s only natural that their baby be just as adorable in return. And he was a complete and total gentleman! He didn’t pee or poop on me once!
Kevin and Andrea’s Fort Tryon Engagement Session
Kevin and Andrea were married last month (no worries, their wedding photographs will follow soon!) and it wasn’t until I was actively shooting their wedding that I found out that Andrea was my cousin’s prom date! They went as friends, but this blew my mind! I love how small the world can be at times.

Brad and Gina’s Central Park Engagement Session
I’ve been having a little love affair with black and white images as of late. So, you might see a few more than normal from here on out. What is it about a black and white photograph that makes my heart sing lately? I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe it’s the utter tradition of it. Maybe it’s the way that stripping an image of the distraction of color makes you focus on the subject that much more. Maybe it’s just lovely and timeless and romantic and yummy.
Here are some of my favorite images from Gina and Brad’s engagement session. Ladies (and gentlemen), can we just take a moment to admire Gina’s choice of shoes?

Lindsey and Dave’s Freeport Engagement Session
Whoa. Lindsey and Dave’s engagement session was ca-razy! They live really close to my house, so I hop in my car to meet up with them and the sun is SHINING! I thought to myself “Awesome! There should be some gorgeous light to work with!” And about 4 minutes later, I pull up to their house and the sun is starting to disappear…”weird” I thought, “we better hurray it looks like rain!”
We did a few photos outside their home and by the time we packed into the car to head to a local spot with some green, it was downpouring! We decided to jump out of our cars for a few shots because the rain was causing this gorgeous steam to rise up from the asphalt.
So, the first few photos were shot on one day, and the last few shots were from another day where we rescheduled…and I made sure to bring plenty of sunshine!
